Sleep Medicine Mock Exam
Description
The Academy of Sleep Wake Science (ASWS) introduces the Sleep Medicine Mock Exams Course, designed to help learners assess their knowledge, identify learning gaps, and prepare confidently for professional sleep medicine examinations.
The course includes two comprehensive mock examinations, with 150 questions in each exam, providing a total of 300 carefully structured questions. The questions cover essential areas of sleep medicine, including sleep physiology, polysomnography, sleep-related breathing disorders, insomnia, hypersomnolence disorders, circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders, parasomnias, movement disorders, PAP therapy, clinical evaluation, and patient management.
Each mock exam is designed to simulate the scope, complexity, and decision-making required in an actual examination. The questions emphasize not only factual recall but also clinical reasoning, interpretation of sleep-study findings, application of guidelines, and problem-solving through case-based scenarios.
By completing both mock exams, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate their overall readiness for the examination
- Identify strong and weak areas within the syllabus
- Improve time management and examination strategy
- Practise applying concepts to clinical and technical scenarios
- Build confidence before attempting the final certification examination
The ASWS Sleep Medicine Mock Exams Course is more than a test of knowledge—it is a structured self-assessment and revision experience that helps transform preparation into examination readiness.
